Hi and welcome to episode #8 of Photographers Stories. This episode almost didn’t happen, my audio files became corrupt, but I managed to recover quite a few of them. This episode I talk to a photographer I know called Andrew Wuttke, he’s a real photographer and by that I mean his primary source of income is from photography. He’s good too. We talked about his history with photography, what he shoots, who he shoots for and how much he loves doing it. What you don’t get to hear was also good. He said “Nobody is going to ask you to go to the desert and shoot Kate Moss, you have to make it happen”. Oh and he uses Mac and PCs – revalationary! I hope you enjoy it. Cheers, MRJ.

Hi! This is episode #7 of Photographer Stories. This episode I speak with James Pierce. I have known James or at least known of James since about 2001. Back in the day, when you searched for/lusted after the Hasselblad Xpan online, you got James, one other guy and Hasselblad. James was heavily involved with a website you may have heard of called Red Bubble. We chatted about Red Bubble, photography, cameras and other shit. James tries (and it still trying) to get me to buy a “proper” large format camera. We talk about shooting large format, really large prints and largely, a lot of things photographic. After we chatted he took my portrait using his Ebony large format camera. I hope you enjoy it! Cheers, MRJ.

Hi. This is episode #6 of Photographer Stories. This episode I talk to fellow photographer Clay Lipsky. You may have heard of him because of two awesome series of photos that he has produced. The first is Atomic Overlook which went viral in a big way and after 2 years is still touring as a photographic exhibition. The other is In Dark Light. We talk about photography, cameras, going viral, the Salton Sea, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, plagiarism, Los Angeles (where he lives) and lots of other shit. Clay is also a fellow Hasselblad Xpan shooter so we talk about that a bit too. I really hope you enjoy it! Cheers, MRJ.

Hi. This is episode 5 of photographer stories. This time I speak to a friend of mine Aaron Young. Aaron and I worked for the same company but not at the same time so I have to warn you, we do talk about that a fair bit. We also talk about his new photographic baby, the Sony A6000. We talk about all sorts of shit. We actually talked for over 2 hours but I managed to cut it down to just over an hour so sorry if it sounds a bit clipped. I also premiere a piece of music that a friend of mine, Michael Christian made for me. Enjoy! Cheers, MRJ.

RETRACTION: Aaron would like everyone to know he doesn’t actually think the Nikon D5100 is a piece of shit. Matthew still does however.
